Wisdom teeth fake-out

So I was supposed to get my wisdom teeth out this past Wednesday. The day before though the place calls me saying they have questions about my insurance. I didn't get back to them before 5 so I had to call first thing Wednesday morning. Turns out that my insurance has a 6 month waiting period for major things which wisdom teeth are classified under. So I obviously canceled it and will now be getting them out through Jean Brown Research in a couple weeks. This turned out to be a great blessing though because of what I did this day instead!!!!

So mom had her day free because she was expecting to be with me all day so we decided to run errands and go look at some wedding dresses. My only intentions were to get some ideas about what I wanted and maybe get myself motivated to lose a little bit more weight :) So, the second dress I tried on mom and I both LOVED. We were like wow, could it really be this easy? It definitely wasn't. So we tried on a few more and the 6th one I tried on, LOVED it! To make a long story short, it took a lot for me to pick between the two. They were both totally different styles and were both gorgeous in different ways. And, they both cost the same. I did end up choosing one though and it was on sale for 300 freaking dollars!! We got so lucky. I absolutely love it and it looks amazing on me. We spent the rest of the day doing wedding planning and shopping and got TONS done. I can't believe how surreal this still feels. I can't believe I'm actually getting married. I am so freaking excited I just wish it was next week! I can't wait to marry Jamie and spend the rest of eternity with him.

So, I wasn't planning on anyone looking at these pictures. They were to help me decide between the two dresses. But, since I have them I might as well show them :) Just don't mind the fact that I'm not smiling at all. I was so happy, I was just really confused trying to decide between the two :) And the freaking lady wouldn't stop talking so I was really annoyed about that too.

It's a date!

We officially set a date for our wedding. July 30th with the reception the day after. We are so so so excited and can't wait to be sealed for time and all eternity in the Draper temple. It's such a relief to have a date set. It makes it feel so much more real. I love love love Jamie with all my heart and seriously cannot wait :D

Engaged!!!!

I am officially engaged to James Polk Summers IV. I have never been so happy in my entire life. Yes, I have been engaged before and we all know that that was a mistake. Just had to say that. The feeling I have this time is so different than the way I felt with Andrew. I just let myself get caught up and let things go to far when I really didn't want them to. Just another mistake to add to the list :) However, this is not a mistake. I honestly have never been so happy. James is the most amazing guy I've ever met. He seriously treats me like a queen. We are so close and we have such a history together that had already bonded us before we started dating again this time. I can't ever get enough of him. We spend soooo much time together and it still never feels like enough. Usually I want my alone time and my space when I'm in a relationship, but not with him. (Not yet anyway:) I feel like I'm in a constant state of bliss every second I'm with him. And when he asked me to marry him, it just felt so right. It still feels so right. I want to be with him for all eternity. I want to have a family with him and grow old with him. I feel like he is the person I've been waiting my whole life for. He is the one. I've never been more sure of anything in my life.

Sorry about that mushiness, onto the proposal :) James and I have been openly talking about getting married for a little while now. I picked out my ring and I actually knew when he got it. I also knew when he talked to my dad so I kind of had an idea when he would propose. Friday night he went and talked to my dad, so I was expecting him to propose Saturday night. He really wanted to get the element of surprise in, so he woke me up at 8:55 on Saturday morning to propose instead :) My roommate and I had fallen asleep watching a movie at like 3 in the morning so I was out on the couch. James was able to wake Sam up so she could videotape the whole thing. As embarrassing as it is and as stupid as I sound, it is still very cute and I'm really glad we have it on tape. I love him so much. Well, I just tried uploading the video and it is not working at the moment. Pretty sure anyone that reads this is on my facebook so you can see it on there. I will try to get it uploaded on here asap though.

Dancing

So, I have decided that I love to dance. I've always known that but always been to shy or embarrassed to really do anything about it. My friend invited me to go to this Latin club called Salsa Chocolate in Provo. From 9-10 they give lessons and then from 10-1 it is just a club. James happened to be down here that night so he came with us. As much as I love that kid, he can't dance to save his life :)He is the definition of a white boy. Lol. For example, this really nice guy saw that he was having a hard time and came over and showed him just the simple 6 step for the chacha. I learned it and I kid you not James and I did it over and over for literally 10 minutes and he still couldn't get it. Just 6 steps. I love him for trying though and I know he felt bad cuz he couldn't dance with me. He kept telling me it was ok if I wanted to go dance with other guys, but I would've felt too bad doing that and just living him sitting there. Needless to say, it wasn't the most fun experience for either of us. But I learned a lot and will definitely be going back with just the girls this time to learn more. There were so many guys there that would just walk around and dance with girls and help them learn. So, I'm excited to go back and am full on admitting how much I love to dance :)
