Baja Cruise 10/17-10/21

James and I had the great opportunity to go on a cruise last week. Neither of us had ever been on one and didn't really have any idea what to expect. Well, we are both now big advocates of cruises and would recommend one to anyone. We loved it so much and are already planning on another one for our 5 year anniversary. I also need to send a BIG thanks to Lori and Jodi for watching Jax for us so we could have that time together.

We got a certificate from James' sister last year which covered a good portion of the cruise. We chose the one we did because the coupon covered it and we didn't want to spend too much more money. Next time we will go to a different place for a longer period of time. So we went on the Baja Cal/Mexico cruise. We ported in Long Beach and left Monday evening. We spent the day Tuesday on Catalina Island, Ca. Wednesday we spent the day in Ensenada, Mexico. Thursday was a full day at sea, and we got off the boat Friday morning back in Long Beach.

We can't say enough how much we enjoyed this experience and how grateful we were to spend it together.

this describes the whole feel of the island, its a retirement community with 4 roads and everyone drives golf carts. it was a cute little place

life these days

James - still working full time for Utah Imaging Associates. He loves his job and they treat him really well. He just got called to be a Bear den leader at church.

Kiley - Still enjoying being able to stay home with Jax. Planning on going back to school in the spring for some type of x-ray tech, ultrasound tech... something of the sort. Nursing school is on hold for the time being because we don't have the money or means right now - hopefully in the future. I just got called to be the relief society pianist.

Jax - just turned 8 months old and is still the happiest baby ever. He's huge and strong and he makes us laugh every single day. He's got 8 teeth, can crawl when he wants, gives kisses, and claps. We love this boy so stinkin much

attempt to update

I love blogging. But ever since my laptop died and I got an Ipad, I do not get on the computer anymore. James promised he would get my laptop fixed cuz it has all my pictures on it and it's how I like to blog (sitting on the couch) but he has yet to fix it. And getting on our desktop really sucks because of who James is it is a huge pain and I have to go back and forth between operating systems for blogging and pictures... needless to say I haven't had the motivation to do so. But now that our computer is in the living room (instead of our bedroom) I have a little more motivation. AND, today I have the bug to blog.

Not like any of you cared about all that, but I felt like saying it anyway. So here is my attempt to update, don't know what order it's gonna be in or what, but here we go.
